This piece was inspired by my painting "AT EASE IN YOUR OWN SHELL". I have always wanted to paint a sea horse, they are such weird and charming fish. Did you know they are very poor swimmers and that they use their tails to hold on to sea vegetation to prevent from drifting away? The original was created on a 16" x 20" canvas with acrylic paints and pens.
